"Heather Lyle Vocal Yoga Method® is a voice work utilizing techniques from Yoga, Pranayama, Voice Science, Alexander Technique, the Bel Canto School of Singing, Qi Gong, kirtan chanting, primal voice work, fascia release work, and somatic bodywork to free the voice.

Vocal Yoga® uses specialized yoga postures, yoga straps, tubes, tuning forks, and somatic bodywork and sound healing exercises designed to unblock the breath and voice from parts of the body where it has been braced or blocked due to the emotional and physical stresses of life.

When the body is free to breathe and released from encumbrances, the person will discover a new depth and expansion to their voice."

Vinyasa Yoga

The fundamental purpose of yoga is to foster harmony in the body, mind, and environment. Vinyasa yoga is a style of yoga that synchronizes physical movements with your breath. This style of yoga can also be referred to as "Flow Yoga," since in it, participants move seamlessly from one posture (asanas) to another while connecting to and focusing on their breath.

Vinyasa yoga classes offer a variety of asanas and vary in nature to help participants develop a more balanced body. Varying postures in classes also help prevent repetitive motion injuries by flowing through different poses that work different muscles, rather than doing the same sequence every time.

As a philosophy, Vinyasa yoga recognizes the temporary nature of beginnings, middles, and ends. We enter into a posture, stay there for a brief amount of time, and then let that posture go as we move into the next one to begin the cycle all over again.

Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga, also referred to as SUP yoga, is practicing yoga on a stand up paddle board in the middle of a calm body of water. It's a trending water sport for anyone who already enjoys paddle boarding. SUP yoga requires more strength, balance, and focus because you are on a floating board in the middle of the water. SUP yoga can be done on a calm lake, river, harbor, bay or even a pool!
